Fire. Food. Landscape. Long tables under open sky.
Belmont Estate, Somerset
24th & 25th July 2026
This summer, Belmont Estate will host the first of our Fire Light Sessions, a new series of seasonal outdoor feasts celebrating food, fire and the landscape around us.
The first two gatherings take place on 24th and 25th July 2026 at Watercress Farm on Belmont Estate, just outside Bristol. Guests will gather in a meadow between woodland and restored wetland, sharing an evening of exceptional food cooked entirely over live fire.
Each Fire Light Session is rooted in the land itself. Fires are lit as guests arrive, smoke drifts across the meadow and the table gradually fills with dishes cooked over wood and sustainably produced British charcoal made from timber harvested on the estate.

The menu celebrates the best of the local landscape, featuring estate-reared & wild meats, seasonal fruit and vegetables from nearby growers, wild flavours and local cheeses. Four generous courses are served to share, passed hand to hand along long communal tables beneath the open sky.

An accompanying bar showcases carefully chosen wines from Port O'Bristol Wines, transported from Portugal under sail and landed in Bristol's historic harbour, alongside beer from Lost & Grounded, local cider and non- alcoholic drinks.
As daylight fades, conversation stretches long into dusk and the pace of the evening follows the rhythm of the fire itself.
With only a limited number of places available, The Fire Light Sessions are designed to be intimate, immersive and deeply connected to place.
This is not a restaurant service transported outdoors. It is a truly memorable feast generous, joyful and rooted in the landscape around it.
